How to use the Annotate screenshots feature when creating a support article?

Annotating screenshots is a common process while writing support articles to indicate/highlight action points on each step. That's why in SubPage, you have the ability to annotate screenshots right inside the help center editor.

1 Open the help center page editor and create a new support article or open the existing support article where you want to insert an annotated image.

Click on the image icon on the top toolbar, as shown below.

2 In the dialog that opens, click on "Annotate Screenshots".

3You will be prompted to upload a file from your desktop. Choose the screenshot image that has to be annotated. The image will first appear in crop mode.

Turn the crop mode to ON if you want to crop the image.

In the next step, you get an option to resize the image (to scale down larger images). After resizing (optional) , click on 'Annotate'.

4 This opens the annotation editor. You can use various components like arrows, shapes, images, text, etc., to annotate the images. You can also add effects like blackout, blur, pixelated, and lens effects. After adding annotations, click on Export.

5This will insert the annotated image into your support article.
